Gearing up for Christmas New Service will Allow ePublicEye.com's 7,500 Merchant Network to Bid for Holiday Shopper's Business.

Largest network of independently monitored e-tailers set to offer speed, privacy, safety and the best prices to online shoppers.

Los Angeles, CA. -- September 30, 1999 -- ePublicEye.com (www.epubliceye.com) the largest aggregator of customer satisfaction data on small and medium sized e-businesses, today announced its eConcierge service, a new personal shopping feature that will allow consumers to put a detailed shopping request out to bid on ePublicEye's network of over 7500 Certified Safer Shopping sites. By using eConcierge, holiday shoppers will be able to avoid the grind of searching through thousands of listings, visiting scores of sites and haggling with dozens of merchants to make a purchase. Shoppers will instead be able to anonymously send their specific request to thousand of e-tailers with the push of one button. Participating merchants who can fill the order will be able to respond to the shopper though the anonymous account set up when the request for a bid was submitted. Responses will be returned to consumers via email and will include confirmation that the e-tailer can fill the request, the merchants offering price and a link to the merchants reliability and customer satisfaction report.

"We are very excited about the level of ease and safety this new feature brings to on-line consumers. Besides being able request and receive scores of competitive bids with a single submission, the service protects consumer privacy by allowing users to shop anonymously on the largest, network of reliability monitored e-tailers on the Internet,"say Errol Smith co-founder of ePublicEye.com.

eConcierge (tm) generates customized bid requests that allow shoppers to quickly specify their needs including brand, make, model, new or used, and desired price. Shoppers may also indicate delivery speed, delivery method, and payment method desired. Additional features like gift services, International shipping, or live support may also be easily specified. Merchants receive shoppers request for bid but not their email address. Merchants are simply sent to a page hosted by ePublicEye.com that allows them to respond to the shopper's request. The service allows online shoppers to communicate with thousands of merchants, get all the information they need to compare before they buy while remaining anonymous until they decide to purchase. eConcierge is a win for merchants as well. Participating merchants will have pre-qualified sales leads sent to their web site. The reduced cost of the attracting these customers will allow merchant to pass some of the savings on to buyers in the form of competitive quotes. "For the merchant participating as a bidder in our eConcierge is a valuable service, as it moves beyond simply developing traffic, to delivering customers directly to the merchants doorstep," says Smith.
