Press Release: Singapore's Inter-fas and U.S. based ePublicEye.com Launch Joint Venture to Take e-Business trust Services to Asia
Los Angeles, February. 7, 2000-- ePublicEye.com, the leading consumer confidence solution among small to mid sized Internet companies, today announced a joint venture with Singapore's Inter-fas a consulting firm specializing in Asian market entry strategies. The joint venture which is 80% owned by ePublicEye.com is aimed at expanding the company's trust services into the Far East. The new company, ePublicEye.com Pte. Ltd. is headquatered in Singapore, and will focus on developing and marketing localized consumer confidence services to e-businesses in Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, and New Zealand. The regional web site at http://www.epubliceye.com.sg is currently in beta and is available in both English and Chinese traditional. 115 e-businesses have already registered for a listing on the site. With that growth, Asia-Pacific e-commerce should hit $35 billion in 2002 from $148 million in 1997, according to International Data Corporation. "We see Asia Pacific as the next frontier.
